Who is Lot?

Hey everyone!

My name is Lotte Roos. They call me Lot.

The meaning of the word 'Lot' is 'Fate' in English.

My father was born on the isle of Curaçao and my mother is from Holland.

My father is a cargo pilot and my mother a grade 7 school teacher.

Occasionally I join my father on a trip. I meet children all over the world. They tell me funny, nice or nasty stories. Sometimes I film these with my cellphone. I also take photos. I like to be with my grandfather too. He makes jokes and tells stories. I share these stories with the world via YouTube, Twitter and Facebook. In this way I want to show children's rights through their own eyes. In the months ahead we will enjoy a journey together! You can follow me on: www.lotroos.nl

Phase 5 - Challenge 3 - part two

May 5 - May 28 2014

Good Morning dear participants,

On Monday, May 12th, we continue to work on Challenge 3 part two. Because of May holidays in many countries-participants students had no time to make "Create" phase of the Cogneto Peerscholar assessment. Thats why we extend this phase till May 16th.

Part Two is an individual assignment for every participating student, about creating a new (still missing) Child’s Right.

We will use the process of peer learning to write and reflect in a very creative way. By giving and receiving feedback to/of your peers in the circle we ask you to critically think about a new right for all children. One you haven’t yet seen during our journey with Lot.
Please see --> Guidelines Cogneeto Peer Assessment

Reflect and collaborate with your peers to create a new children's right to add to the 54 already existing ones.

After reading the guidelines carefully, please login to: http://cogneeto.com

What can you do to ensure that your own identified new child's right is successful?

Please start this third challenge with a good discussion in your group and then carefully plan and divide all your actions.

At the same time we miss:

  • Challenge 2 results from the Montessori College Arnhem,
  • Challenge 3 part one results from Anton Resida school voor MULO, Carmel College Salland, Montessori College Arnhem, Joshua Creek Public School

Please post your input as soon as possible!

Have a good week ahead!
