We appreciated the opportunity to participate in this learning circle. What really helped us is that we worked on the circle in English class, but in Social Studies, they were working on Children's Rights in parallel, doing all the background work while we did the activities, which helped things move more quickly.
I would say that overall, there was a lot of work in this learning circle, almost too much. It was quite difficult to keep up, given that we had to follow our regular curriculum in English as well. I chose one of my three English classes, and the section that worked on the circle fell behind the rest quite a bit, which wasn't easy.
The students learned a lot, and overall, I think they enjoyed participating in the circle.
