A JOURNEY WITH LOT

Evaluation

May 21 - May 28 / 2014

In this last week of the Lot Learning Circle, in parallel with the end of phase 5,

we would like to receive your feedback and learn how you experienced your journey with Lot.

Please share with us:

  Hello  erybody ,

We  from  class 2A  cannot  open  the  file  of  phase  3  part  two.We  shall put this task  here.

Phase 3  part  two:

1.The  right  that  we  have  think  about is : " Every  child  has  the  right  to  know  the  importance  of  the  forest "  We  choose  for  this  right  because  we  live  in  an  tropical  country. We  need  the  forest  for our  future.Because  we  learned  that  there is  no  good  future  without  the  forest!  Almost  every  day  we  read in  the  newspaper  about damages  that  are  made  to  our  forest by  the  goldmining proces  and tree exploitation. This  two things  bring  a  lot  of  damage  to  our  forest. We  want  that the  people must  stop  destroying  the  forest.

2.How  we   will  do  this is :

*  first  we  will tell  everybody  at  our  school  the  importance  about  our  forest.

* We  will  ask  the  help  of  our  teachers  to write  a  letter  to  the  government  . In  this  letter  we  tell  the  government  to stop  giving  license to  people  for  the  goldmining and  tree  exploitation because  we  need the  forest for our  good  future.

The  forest  gives  us  a lot  of  thing .We  need  also  the  forest  for recreation place

This  is  just  a small piece  of  our beautiful  forest  near  the  Suriname river. We  must  respect  our  forest.

The  forest  give  us  a  lot  of  delicious  fruits !

delicious  fruits  from  the  forest!

Our  forest  with  a  lot  of  different  plants!

Save and Continue

How  people  live in  our  forest (  cooking  cassave  bread  )

Our  school  went  to  KKF  for  a  forest  day  education. We  learned  a  lot  of  things  about  the  forest  and  the  people  living  in the  forest.

This  was  our  part  of  phase  3  part  two.We  hope  that  everybody  like  our  right about  the  forest.

Here  under  you  can  read  our  evaluation:

What went really well in your Learning Circle work? --> please add

What really  went  well  in  this  learning  circle  :  We  learned  to  work  together  with  each other. We  also  learned  to  communicate in  the  learning  circle  group.

What learning experience did your class / group benefited from most? --> pleas add

We  learned  a  lot  about  the  life  style  of  children  in  the  world. We  also  have  seen  and  read  that  a  lot  of  children  are  poor  and  they  have  it   very  difficult  to  live . The  children  do  need  more  help to  live  happy.

More  what  we  have  learned  is  that  we  must  respect  the  chance  that  we  get  to  study. Not  every  child  gets  this  chance to  study.

      How can we grow stronger?

First of all  we  must  keep  on  the  good work. What  we  must  do  to get  stronger  is that  we  must  communicate  more  with  each  other.  Before  and  after  the  vacation  of  the  second  semester  it is difficult  to  work .

It was  good  to  work  with  all of  you.

We  want  to  tell you  also  that  we  from class 2A  have  worked  together  with  class  1D

Your tips and ideas will help us to improve our Circles and make the next journey even more successful! --> please add
