Timeline Lot February 2014

Phase 1. February 10 – March 02 2014

Introduction
Before you start to learn and work together, it is nice to know each other. In the wiki there is a page available for each group to introduce themselves. Everyone can read the wiki, yet to edit you need a login. Once you have access to the wiki, you can start editing your introduction page. On this page you can share about your school, classroom, fellow students and your teacher. A nice group picture of can be added, or pictures of students, drawings, a video... You can also look at the Cool Tools Wiki (see sidebar) for another creative way to let us get acquainted with your group.

Phase 2. March 03 – March 30 2014

Challenge 1

On Monday morning March 3rd, you can find the first challenge in the Wiki. Each group has three weeks, until Sunday March 28th (due to holidays), to add their contributions to the school challenge page. Please try to be as creative as possible with texts, videos, photos or Social Media! You can also add an extra effect by using the Cool Tools Wiki.

All pages are visible to everyone. Take a good look with your group at the contributions of the other groups.

Phase 3. 31 March 31 – April 20 2014

Challenge 2

On Monday morning March 31st, the second challenge will be visible in the wiki. You now have time until Sunday April 20th to work on this challenge. Try to be as creative as possible with texts, videos, photos or Social Media! We invite you to closely look at the contribution of the other students in your Circle. Discuss in your group the similarities and differences in the responses to the challenges from other groups.

Phase 4. April 21 – May 4 2014

Challenge 3 – part one - research

On Monday morning April 21st the third challenge will appear in the wiki. Until Sunday May 4th your group can do research and add creative contributions in your school challenge page in the wiki about the 3rd challenge (schools from Holland, Suriname and Curaçao will have longer 2-3 week breaks).

The second part of Challenge 3 will be a peer learning assignment in one

‘Global pS Classroom’.

Phase 5. May 5 – May 28 2014

 Challenge 3 – part two – completion

In this phase we will use the process of peer learning to write and reflect in a very creative way. By giving and receiving feedback to/of your peers in the circle we ask you to critically think about a new right for all children. One you haven’t yet seen during our journey with Lot. Reflect and collaborate with your peers to create a new children's right to add to the 54 already existing ones. What can you do to ensure that your own identified new children’s right is successful?

Phase 6. May 21 – May 28 2014

Evaluation.

In this last week of the Lot Learning Circle, in parallel with the end of phase 5, we would like to receive your feedback and learn how you experienced your journey with Lot. What went really well and how can we grow stronger?

Your tips and ideas will help us to improve our Circles and make the next journey even more successful!
